Welcome to SE Dog Academy - Scentwork
Scentwork is for every dog and every dog can enjoy scentwork.
Every dog does scentwork differently and every dog does scentwork right.
SE Dog Academy - Scentwork offers Scentwork classes for dogs beginning their scentwork journey and dogs who want to develop their scentwork skills.
SE Dogs Academy is run by a City and Guilds Scentwork Instructor and Scentwork Accredited Trainer.
All training is fun for the dogs and owners using positive methods
The classes are informative and will enable you to do scentwork for fun or ready for competitions.
We offer regular classes, 121 and workshops in different locations in Surrey and Hampshire.

SE Dog Academy Scentwork Competitions
SE Dog Academy Trials are fun trials to build your experience of searching with your dogs. They are held in various locations and each search will be different.
There is a clear progression route that you can take at your own pace
Trials
The Trials consist of 3 searches
A large Interior Search
Smaller Interior Search or Exterior Search
A Focus Search

SE Dog Academy Scentwork trials are split into Stages 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
For each stage you need to pass each search in three different trials.

About
I have many years of Scentwork experience and training. I have national recognised qualifications in Scentwork and Scentwork Instruction.
My aim is to help dog owners to have fun and increase their bond with their dog and to bring out the strengths and fun in dog ownership.
Dogs deserve to have fun lives full of happiness and stimulation, our aim at South East Dog Academy is to help owners achieve this.
I have had dogs in my life and each dog has brought new learning experiences and pleasure with them.
All my training is reward based and it is training with no frustration for the owners or dogs!
Training is easily explained with follow up resources to help you when you are practicing on your own.
I have studied dog training and behaviour and also competed in Scentwork and Agility Trials for many years.
